STORY-TELLER (and other actors & actresses...)
Did you have fun? I did! Julio has a great future as an actor... I'm sure Alberto is still thinking about his dog... he couldn't stop listening to it. Rosa and Raquel were great with their witchy hats...
By the way, the final dance performed by Julio and Alberto while Alan was playing the bagpipe was "amazing"... The most important thing was that you had a good time, and I think you did.

Les Falles

Three beautiful moments from "Les Falles"(Valencian) or "Las Fallas" (Spanish). The first one is called "la cremà", that is, when they burn the fallas. The second one is a "mascletà", huge noise coming from a neverending display of fireworks at 2 o'clock every day. The last one would be the first step, that is, "la plantà", when the "artistas falleros" join together the pieces of the falla in which they've been working all year long... It's very tiring visiting them, every year it's the same. However... it's impossible not to feel the emotion of the smell of gunpowder, the noise of the fireworks, the streets full of people, the trembling of your clothes in a mascletà, the tears in your eyes when you see that the falla is burning...
I hope you all have a GREAT TIME these days!!! I also hope that Julio, Alberto, Roberto, Agapito... found their way back home after a hundred beers!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ANA II & LUIS

AMAZING!!!
Let me confess that I thought that the first in solving the Art enigma would be from the CCSS class... I was quite surprised when Luis and Ana II got into the cafeteria and told me the name of the picture and its author... So congratulations again and Ana I's team scores 2 points more!!!
WELL DONE!!!

2 points in favour of Culture (mini enigma)
Gregorio & Carmen Riquero
Some students have told me that they would love to dedicate some words to the teachers who they miss, that is Gregorio (Biology teacher) and Carmen Riquero (Art teacher). This is a little space for you to send them whatever (I'll show them as soon as they get back to Guadalerzas).Good luck tomorrow with your knee operation, Gregorio!!!

Enigma VI solved

CONGRATULATIONS, ROBERTO (CCNN)!
After thinking and thinking about the proverbs, and ignoring and ignoring Rafa Contento during 50 minutes (please, don't do it any more and pay attention to your teachers in class!!!!!!!!), you've solved the enigma without any help! (I'm glad you've finally decided to get inside the competition in an active way).
I'm sorry about the people at the CCSS class, who got the solution earlier in the morning but one of the translations of the proverbs was wrong. I'm also sorry about the girls at the CCNN class, who nearly killed themselves when going down the stairs to give me the solution.
Next Monday, there'll be more proverbs (I see you've liked them!!!!)
By the way, Ms. Grosu's team scores 7 points thanks to Mr.Galán. Well done!

ENIGMAS

I'm sure there are people who are waiting for the following enigma... (aren't there, Luis?), haha... Well, don't worry, you'll have a new one tomorrow morning IN ORDER TO solve it this weekend (as long as you've got some spare time).
Before I forget, I'd like to tell you that the points scored through the "Indians & Cowboys" game ("Indias, Cowboys and Aliens" in the case of 2nd Bach CCSS), won't be added to the classification until the game is over.
GOOD LUCK with your exams!!!
P.s.: I think you should meet ASAP so as to talk about our trip to London / Paris / wherever... Remember you have the blog if you want to exchange opinions (if you find it difficult to meet during the morning or afternoon because of your examinations). The idea which the girls of CCNN had about the party is a good one, but there may be many more options! As far as I'm concerned, I promise not to give up and keep on fighting!!!

Visit to the "Fábrica de Armas" in Toledo
* Visiting the labs was exciting (especially the Bruja Avería moment), despite the fact that some students (let's call them Roberto, for instance) tried to run away from them... ;)
* Thanks for the coffee to other students! (let's call them Alberto, for instance too, haha). I owe you one.
* Some other students confessed a little and important secret to his English teacher... (let's call them Underdog, for example...). Don't worry, your secret is safe!
* GOOD LUCK tomorrow. Study HARD for the ENGLISH TEST! And if you've got any doubt while studying, just write it down in the blog.
